For nine seasons, Eric has coached masters swimming with the Arnprior Greyfish. What a wonderful follow-on to a completed career in laser and fiber optic engineering. As swim coach his approach is to help swimmers develop good technique in the water with power and endurance.

Back in university days, he was a medalist in the Canadian university swimming championships. Since then, he has participated as a masters swimmer with clubs in Edmonton, Saskatoon, Dallas, Ottawa and Arnprior. He has held provincial and Canadian records in various masters age groups in butterfly, breaststroke and individual medley.

For cross training, he spends his summers practicing sprint kayak (and a bit of war canoe and dragon boat). There's still plenty of time for daily walks with wife Susan and their Britany Spaniel.
