Seven intrepid swimmers made this crossing. It was a chilly, raining and windy day (kind of scary) when we set out from the Sand Point Wharf but by the time we reached Norway Bay the wind had died down, and the water was calm.

were: Jane Dowd, Gail McDowell, Tony Foster, Pam LeMay, Ralph Chown, Mike
Dupuis and Victoria Alexander. Our boats, canoes and kayaks assistants
were: Pat Grenier and Nancy Black, Pat Kavanagh, Andi and Anda Kalnins,
Joanne Stadnyk and husband, Jackie and Ron Stadnyk, Les Sury and Ron Biggs.
